The Partners

The eco-restaurant project was developed and implemented by Al-Shouf Cedar Society, A Rocha and Royal Society for Conservation of Nature (RSCN); it was funded by the Swiss Development Agency (SDC) on a land generously donated by Skaff Estate.

Souk el Tayeb created the concept for Tawlet Ammiq and operates it in celebration of the local, natural and cultural heritage and the culinary traditions of Ammiq and the region.

The project is part of a regional program that supports protected sites in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, funded by the Swiss Development Agency (SDC) and implemented by Royal Society for Conservation of Nature (RSCN). The eco-restaurant was established to support the conservation efforts of Al-Shouf Cedar Society and A Rocha.
